Another stupendous day of sightseeing! We drove through the Gorges du Verdon before heading south to Agay and the Cote d'Azur. I wish we planned for an extra half a day to stay and canoe/paddle-boat/kayak along the area you see pictured. Because the roads there are incredibly winding, we decided to take in the views, but stay on course for our check-in to the Agay hotel and our dinner in Cannes.
As you see, the weather was kind to us, and we had a great time ascending and descending the cozy roads of the Gorges.

So cool! Will have to come back to partake in the water-fun :) |

Some girl posing for photographs in the climbing gear |
These sheep were herded by 2 tiny dogs (maybe the size of a beagle). The shepherd girl yelled a command in French and all of a sudden we saw a commotion of sheep accumulating at the side of the road. So efficient.

Agay (across the road from the hotel). It was too chilly for me to swim, but some people did. Paul didn't want to get his feet sandy... |
Agay is very small and peaceful. I can see how some would enjoy its serenity over the glitzy Cannes

We were in Cannes a few days before the festival started, so the town was transforming into a showcase of stages, arenas, podiums, red carpets, etc., etc,. |

Post dinner stroll along the promenade |
We returned to Agay to rest before our drive along the coast towards Nice.
Coming up... Nice and Monaco
